Sun 14th Oct: A mixed bag of happy news

Nibs has a new family
Before anything else I'm happy to say that French bulldog Nibs was adopted today so is obviously no longer available.  A dog like him overshadows all others so it's always a relief when the right home comes along and gives the rest of the dogs and puppies a chance.

Lily and Lilac were adopted on their first WNP visit

Two lucky babies making their debut at Whiskers'N'Paws were adopted together, leaving three sisters still available and you can see how friendly they are in this set of photos by Rodger So, our volunteer photographer for today Puppy Adoption Day 14 October 2018 - Part 1 —

Santa was the lucky older puppy for today

Finally one of our older puppies went home, and Santa was the lucky one.  I also discovered (by looking at her teeth) that gentle Raven is five months old, older than first estimated, so she will be smaller as an adult than first thought.  She was also lucky to be taken for fostering, although not actually adopted.

Baby Zeb was adopted last Sunday but had to be returned for family reasons, but he found himself another home very quickly.  Lucky boy!
Zeb was lucky twice!

Over at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre senior boy Clive had his adoption confirmed after a foster period, and chihuahua cross Dylan was also chosen.
Dylan is also a senior

I'd forgotten to mention that Tracker the beagle was also taken for a trial earlier in the week, and returnee Billy, adopted from us as a baby pup, also got his second chance when he was adopted again and has fitted in really well.
Billy was given a second chance and is a very happy boy
