Tues 11th April: Not much time for real work

It's a very strange time, with the newly-repaired van suffering two flat tyres and the driver, Sing, needing physiotherapy for a sore neck after the accident a couple of weeks ago, both leaving us once again without our own transport.  The extra public holidays holidays have also been affecting the daily operations, and I only have Thursday to get all of the puppies ready for Sunday, which of course is Easter.  Still, Whiskers N Paws will be open and we'll all be there minus, I hope, the puppies mentioned yesterday.

Joy was a baby at Tai Po but already too old at Whiskers N Paws
I'm also hoping I can send another of my older Lamma pups to Tai Po after sweet Joy was adopted today.  Four to five months is young for our main Homing Centre where the adults live, whereas for Whiskers N Paws this age is already past the baby stage.  Perception is everything.

With the arrival of the spring rain, I'm once again in need of fosters for baby pups if anyone can help.  Please contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com if you can foster puppies or small dogs too.  We have four new ex-breeder dogs arriving this weekend and it would be really helpful to have somewhere for them to stay other than our Homing Centre.

Just some of the little ones who would like to be in foster homes
