We knew it was going to be one of those days when we don't have enough dogs to satisfy demand, and I'm talking about the smaller dogs of course, the "A" girls who had moved from HKDR@Elgin to our North Street Centre on Friday. Twenty of these dogs and puppies came to us at the end of August, with four larger young adults being sent straight to Tai Po (please don't forget them!), the puppies going to North Street and the smaller adults (plus Adam) camping at Elgin Street temporarily. In the end just three were left to move, and two of them were adopted today, Aggie and Anya. Only shy Avery is left, and she will almost certainly be gone by the end of Sunday.

One of the puppies from the "A" intake went home today, and that was terrier-type Asher.
There was one more from that group that I need to mention, and that's Aiden, who was suffering the after-effects of canine distemper to such an extent that his front leg needed to be amputated to allow him to walk properly. He's now in a foster home recovering from the surgery, and as has happened before when a leg has had to be removed, the healing is very fast, just a matter of a couple of weeks at most. Aiden is medium sized and very pretty, and I do hope that there is the perfect family out there who will offer Aiden a forever home.

I'm not sure how busy or quiet it's going to be at Whiskers N Paws this weekend, but we will be sending puppies there regardless. Some of them will come from their foster homes, while others will be our Kennedy Town Homing Centre. One thing I can guarantee is that they'll have a great time playing on the terrace, so whatever happens there's always that happy thought, plus the photos of course.
It's worth mentioning that some of the available puppies will be small-medium sized as adults, like Misty, Jude and the "A" litter.
