In-and-out Harry |
One lucky little pup who came to us on Tuesday hardly had time to settle into his foster home before he was adopted and moved on again. I missed even seeing this gorgeous scruffy boy, and we only managed to get one photo of him after his arrival at the Kennedy Town Homing Centre where he stayed for a very short time. I called him Harry, but even his name may be a short-lived one as I expect his new family will think of something else to call him.

Halo having her arrival photo taken

If you like the scruffy look, Halo was another new arrival in the same group as Harry. She's an adult of course, but still a young dog. If interested in adopting, please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

Gorgeous Kai

Although he's still with us at Kennedy Town, I can mention that Kai is also going to his new home in a couple of days. The adoption paperwork has been completed in advance after an earlier meeting, so I agreed to hang onto Kai for a short time. We don't usually reserve any dogs or puppies because moving them into homes as soon as possible is important both for us and the puppies, but in some cases we allow a few days.

Morgan was an Ap Lei Chau puppy before |
There was also more happy adoption news from Tai Po as foster dog Morgan's family joined the Failed Foster Club. Morgan had needed to go to a temporary home following knee surgery, and he obviously charmed his now-adopters enough that they wanted him to stay.
Checking the weather forecast this morning, as I do almost every day, I was happy to see that Sunday's looking good for the regular Whiskers N Paws puppy party. We have new dogs and puppies coming in all the time, with more on Thursday arriving from AFCD, so these good weather Sundays are important to us.
