Ziti on his way to England |
Proving that it's not impossible (even if expensive), recently-adopted Ziti left Hong Kong last night to start his new life in England, very shortly after he was adopted. I know he's going to have a great life there, and I expect him to become something of a celebrity with his special small-eared look, a nod to the sharpei in him I expect. I have to say thank you to his adopter for her absolute determination to make this work and to get Ziti on a flight, whatever the cost and challenges.
Tizzy loves her tennis ball |
Continuing to highlight some of the many small and medium-sized dogs we have at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, sweetheart Frenchie girl Tizzy was at Acorn today having biopsies taken on the horrible skin eruptions on her inner back leg. The amazing thing about her, other than her very cute squishy face and happy nature, is that she's not bothered by what looks to me like something that would be very painful, and she loves playing in the dog park and chasing a tennis ball.
Tiny Tamsin |
Tiny Tamsin is so adorable. I don't know why she hasn't been chosen yet, but as always I'm not worried, knowing that she too is perfectly happy with the other dogs and being at the Homing Centre.
Nola centre, Plum and Piggy (Gumbo front) |
I've mentioned Nola before, but whereas she was previously in a foster home after her family left her behind when they moved back to the UK, she's now also at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre. As always, sweet Miss Piggy is the one who helps all of the newcomers, and Nola is settling in well. She's a sweet, small-medium two year-old in case you would like to offer her a home.
