 Jimmy Tsang was the (long-term) volunteer photographer at Whiskers N Paws today, and you can see the puppies having a great time on the terrace Puppy Adoption Day 5th May 2024 with no rain to spoil their fun.  Although there were no on-site adoptions, as soon as Cookie got back to our Kennedy Town Homing Centre her new family were waiting to take her home.

Other than that happy event it was mainly a poodle day at Kennedy Town, with senior boy Toffee going home, as well as Rosie and Razzle (for a trial with the resident Yorkie).

There was also a lovely surprise for one of our lovely large Tai Po dogs who has been waiting for so long to find her forever home. She was picked up today for a trial, and I won't say who she is until we know that she won't be coming back. 

I should hopefully have some more lovely adoption news to share in the coming week, with several potential adopters having held off until the weather improved. 

We have new small ex-breeder dogs arriving on Monday from AFCD, including a sweet poodle girl and a boy pug.  If anyone is interested in knowing more, please start by completing the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/. 

Just a reminder that the Pet Expo starts this Thursday, we we're going to be busy over that period.  The Homing Centres will still be open as usual, of course, but our office team may be a bit slow in responding to emails for a while.
