Mon 9th Nov: Two adoptions, and a special volunteer request

Some happy news for today along with the return of the sunshine, doglet Roland has found his forever home, while poodle Hendrix had his adoption formalised by his "failed" foster parent.

Roland has a unique look

Roland has waited a long time for this day to come, but that wasn't time wasted as his wonderful foster parents trained him to perfection.  The result is a happy and relaxed older puppy, and Roland will even have some built-in ex-HKDR friends to play with in his new home.  I'm so happy for him.
Hendrix is adopted!

Hendrix was unrecognisable as a poodle when he first arrived, as he'd been completely shaved.  These days he's as lovely as he is sweet-natured, as shown in his adoption photo.

On a completely different matter, we need to do some tree trimming and clearing of overhanging vines at our Tai Po Homing Centre.  We're looking for some strong and capable volunteers who can spend some time at the site to help with this, so if that's you please email tp@hongkongdogrescue.com to register.  We're hoping to get a small team together so it can all be done quickly and safely.  Thank you.

I was hoping to be able to share an updated puppy list today, but that can wait until tomorrow.  As always we have so many lovely puppies of all ages waiting for homes, so please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/ so we can recommend those we think would be a good match for your home and family.
