Sun 17th Feb: A good day for the older puppies

Ben's adopters made a good choice
It's always a wonderful feeling to see the older puppies leaving with their new families, and today after very careful consideration it was Ben's turn.  He's a wonderful boy, sweet and gentle, and I know as first-time owners this was the perfect choice.

Another older puppy, Mimsy, was also taken for a trial adoption, so although there were only two lucky ones today we were very happy.

We also had the pleasure of receiving two lovely birthday donations, one from Marcus via TwoPresents, and the other cash from Vedika who has previously supported in the same way.  Thank you to both for being so generous in sharing your special day.
Lucas (holding Chipper) kindly shared his 10th birthday via TwoPresents

Vedika has previously donated her birthday money, so a double thank you is due.

Yvonne Chan was today's volunteer photographer and you can take a look at all of the lovely photos and puppies here:

There was another lucky puppy at Tai Po as Hazel was adopted, a popular girl judging from the enquiries I had received.  We'll probably send two of the older Ap Lei Chau puppies up to the "big place" now to replace Mello and Hazel, both now in their respective new homes.
