There are some happy stories to share today, starting with the heartwarming reunion of the stray dog found in California, and her relieved owner. It just goes to show the importance of microchipping and licensing dogs, because without that little chip in the back of the neck many dogs would be lost for ever. If you don't know, all puppies by the age of five months must be microchipped and licensed (in Hong Kong), meaning also having a rabies vaccination.
Also following on from the sad story of the poor warehouse mother dog and her puppies being taken from her and thrown in the hills, the two survivors are now in a foster home and will hopefully be fine after their ordeal.

I can also report on three "Foster Fails", with poodles Tyler, Becky and Bunty both being adopted by their foster families.

While most of our smaller dogs stay at the Kennedy Town Centres, some of those at Tai Po are no larger than medium, like sweet Emma who comes with a special free gift when she's adopted.
