Sat 6th Jan: Gin's big day after a 7 year wait

Henry and Elke
There are many times when I enjoy the rain, but Sunday isn't one of them.  Nevertheless the puppies will be at Whiskers N Paws, and with a lot of newbies due next week I want to give the current group our best shot.  It's about time brother-and-sister pair Henry and Elke went to real homes as they're the perfect age, not too young and not too old.  Coco is the smallest of pups-in-waiting and luckily for her she's had the benefit of being in a foster home with one of our Sunday volunteers.
Coco has a loving foster but needs a forever home

What happens to those puppies who don't ever get adopted?  Well Gin is a perfect example, having come to us as a baby pup full of love and hope for his forever family, but instead he ended up going to Tai Po where he waited a full seven years before that longed-for day finally arrived.  Yes, Gin was adopted today by a lovely family and as much as it was his dream come true, it was also a wonderful day for me.  I never forget the puppies that have lived with me, and I live in hope that all of them will eventually find homes, however long it takes.
